DESCRIPTION:
WinSCP is an open-source free FTP client for Windows designed to help you transfer files safely and securely between a local and a remote computer using the SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) and SCP (Secure CoPy) transfer protocols. It supports highly secured encryption options such as DES, 3DES, Blowfish and AES. It can use SSH v1 and v2, or can be set to only accept connections from hosts/clients employing the stronger v2. And, WinSCP also supports multiple secure authentication mechanisms.
WinSCP features two types of graphical user interfaces. The first is based on the old Norton Commander file manager and the other is similar to Windows Explorer. WinSCP integrates fully with Windows, allowing you to transfer files directly from the right-click menu or drag and drop files into the application windows. It can do all basic operations with files, such as copying and moving. WinSCP also allows you to rename files and folders, create new folders and change properties of files and folders.
